Mira Solovianenko, soprano, performs operatic and contemporary music. Merited Artist of Ukraine since 2010. Lives in Toronto, Canada since 2014.
Her repertoire includes music ranging from baroque (Johann Sebastian Bach, George Frideric Handel, Giulio Caccini, Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, Antonio Vivaldi) to modern composers (Giovanni Sartori, Myroslav Skoryk, Andrew Lloyd Webber).
Mira was born in a musical family in Vinnytsya, Ukraine and started practicing music at the age of 4. In 2007 she got Masters of Music from Vocal and Conducting Faculty of the National University of Culture and Arts in Kyiv, Ukraine.
For over 9 years Mira worked with National Academic Choir of Ukraine “Dumka” as a solo vocalist as well as a choir singer. For over 4 years Mira worked with National Organ and Chamber Music Hall of Ukraine as a lead vocalist.
Mira's experience in Canada includes several concerts in St.Paul's Trinity Centre (residence of Taffelmusik), cooperation with Music Director Kerry Straton and Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Music Director Matthew Jaskievicz and Oakham House Choir of Ryerson University, performing at a variety of Ukrainian, Russia and Polish community events.
Mira has a lot of experience performing in Canada, Ukraine as well as in over 20 international festivals and concert tours in the countries of Eastern and Western Europe. She also took part in several concert tours in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Chile.
